On Saturday, I worked on this sky. I layered paint, worried, layered some more, mourned over it looking like mud, put the painting in the easel (instead of painting on the drafting table), layered some more, worried some more, and then, suddenly, clouds popped out of the sky! LOL! Sometimes, I feel like I am pulling teeth to try to get something on the canvas. I feel like I have no idea what I am doing and I am always surprised when I actually accomplish something. Well, they are not finished, but I am so glad there are clouds in my sky. I feel like I need to put several more layers on it, but I will see what happens next. I can't wait to start on the plane. Ron is impatiently awaiting the plane, too. He came down to look at it while it was still in the muddy stage and said, "Well, I guess it is ready for the plane." After I assured him that there were no clouds in the sky, as of yet, he left and that is when the clouds appeared. He was as surprised as me. I hope that, in my next post, I can show you the finished sky.
