I tried a nifty new ink technique. I haven't done much with ink, but thought I would give this a try. It is called stippling. I have enjoyed seeing stippling, but thought it was probably too time consuming to try. It is. But, I tried it anyway. This was a blog post/class on The Virtual Instructor site.
I also have recently invested in a set of brush pens: Tombow Dual Brush Pens. I am going to have to learn how to use them. But, so far they are very nice. I am much more used to pencils for coloring. I have Prismacolor pencils, the Premiers and the Verithins, from before I was married. LOL! I am still using them. I use them very carefully and sparingly. Obviously! LOL! That is why they have lasted so long... I used them in this hurried little study (below) in my sketchbook.
I did this to try to see how things fit in a room according to perspective. It is stiff and basic.
Now, what to do next? Hmmm... We will see...
